Pure Klass Cleaning was built to solve one problem: getting thousands of student rooms ready on time, every summer, without cutting corners.
Moses founded Pure Klass Cleaning in Poole in 2015, building on years of experience running Klass Care, a domiciliary care company in Dorset. The early work was cleaning care homes. Then a university contract came along, and everything changed.
That first university project revealed something Moses had suspected: most cleaning companies treat student accommodation like office cleaning. They send general operatives with general instructions. The results are general too. Inconsistent. Slow. Full of callbacks and rework.
Moses built Pure Klass Cleaning specifically around the university calendar. Every process, every training programme, every recruitment decision is shaped by one question: can we turn thousands of rooms in weeks, not months, and pass inspection on every single one?
Today, Moses leads the company as sole director, personally overseeing contract delivery and maintaining direct relationships with every university client.
During summer turnovers, our cleaning teams live on-site at the university. Not in a hotel down the road. Not commuting from a depot 40 miles away. On-site, in the accommodation itself.
This is not a cost-saving measure. It is a performance decision. When your team lives on campus, morning briefings start at 6am without delays. There are no late arrivals because of traffic. No absences because a bus did not turn up. Every operative is ready, on time, every day.
The on-site living model also means our teams develop a genuine understanding of the buildings they clean. They know which corridors get the heaviest foot traffic, which kitchens always need extra attention, which rooms have tricky bathroom layouts. That familiarity translates directly into speed and quality.
It also reduces our carbon footprint significantly. No daily commutes for 100+ operatives means fewer vehicles, less fuel, and lower emissions across the entire contract period.
Pure Klass Cleaning sits alongside Klass Security, our SIA-registered university security division. Where we clean student accommodation, Klass Security protects it. SIA-licensed officers provide campus security, building patrols, and access control for the same university environments we clean.
For universities, this means a single point of contact for both cleaning and security services, with teams that understand your campus, your calendar, and your students.
In 2023, Moses delivered a keynote at the ASRA (Association of Student Residential Accommodation) conference on the cleaning industry's path to carbon neutrality. It was not a presentation about vague commitments or distant targets. It was a practical breakdown of what we are already doing.
Our on-site living model eliminates commuting emissions for 100+ operatives across every summer contract. We do not use bleach. Our equipment is reusable, not disposable. We have water conservation protocols built into every cleaning process.
Our net zero target is 2030. Not because a board voted on it, but because the operational model we have built already gets us most of the way there.
